R. Eric López was born and raised in South Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science, with a specialization in Biology, from the University of Michigan in 2000. Eric earned his Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University. He has been married to his college sweetheart, Megan, for 15 years, and they have three beautiful children; Eric Jr., Jillian , and Julie. Eric loves the beach, fishing, and the outdoors. He is blessed to be a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Mr. López worked for many years for large conglomerate personal injury firms in the Dallas area, and saw how the clients were sometimes lost in the shuffle; this inspired him to open his own firm. R.E. López and Associates, P.C. was founded in 2012 and has since helped thousands of people through the trauma from auto accidents. Mr. López prides himself on the personal attention clients receive.
Mr. Morales has been practicing law for 10 years and has dedicated himself to helping victims of personal injury. Mr. Morales was born and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas and has resided in the D/FW metroplex for the majority of his life. Mr. Morales attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he receive Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice in just 3 years.
Mr. Morales attended Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans where he earned his juris doctorate in the Fall of 2005. Mr. Morales has made it his mission to serve those in need and began working as an intern at the Office of the Attorney General-child support division. While working for the Attorney General Mr. Morales saw first hand how difficult it was for those in need to receive assistance through legal channels and from there made a pledge to be a tireless advocate for the community.
Mr. Morales began his legal practice working at a big firm in Dallas where he immediately began handling a docket of over 200 cases. While he gained a great deal of experience at this firm Mr. Morales wanted a more personal relationship with his client base so the decision was made to join a smaller firm and from there Mr. Morales went to trial on over 50 cases and has settled over 1,000.00 cases. Mr. Morales came to our firm in July of 2013 and is currently a Partner handling cases primarily in litigation. He is board certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Daniel is married to his wife Brandi and has two sons Isaac and Daniel. Dan loves to spend time camping, skiing and skydiving with his family. He also has a soft spot for his two Labs Scout and Ranger.
Bernard Grant is a long time Plano/ Murphy, Texas resident. He graduated from Plano East Senior High School in 1991. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Texas A&M University – College Station in 1996. After working as an insurance agent, he attended St. Mary’s University School of Law earning his law degree in May 2001. He was admitted to the Texas Bar November 2, 2001 and worked at both Plaintiff and Defense firms throughout his career. Recently, he was a trial attorney for Farmers and Nationwide Insurance for over four years before joining R. E. Lopez & Associates, P.C. Mr. Grant is very involved in his community. He was elected to serve as a City Council member for the City of Murphy, Texas from 2011 to 2014. Also, he has served on various City boards and commissions.
Bernard Grant has vast litigation experience on both the plaintiff and defense side, giving him a unique perspective and insight into his client’s case. His trial experience and time served working as an insurance agent and an insurance company trial attorney, helps him provide the firm’s clients with a number of perspectives regarding their case. Mr. Kim attended Oklahoma City University earning his law degree. He was admitted to the Texas Bar November 5, 2004 and served as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Arlington early on in his career. He practiced civil defense litigation for Allstate, Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance for over six years before joining R. E. López & Associates, P.C. He was honored to serve as a Judge for the City of Burleson from 2008 to 2010.

Paul Gómez was born in Clifton, Texas, raised in Oglesby, Texas. Mr. Gomez completed his preparatory education at the University of North Texas (B.A. American History with minors in Jewish Studies and Spanish going on to earn his M.A. In History of Spanish and French Colonies in North America. He attended Texas Wesleyan University School of Lawand earned his juris doctorate in 2009. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Paralegal Studies at Kaplan College, since July 2012 a
Member of the Carrollton Masonic Lodge a member of the State Bar College and a Member of the Dallas County Bar Association,and the Denton County Bar Association.
Matthew Sercely has been practicing law for over 8 years and is a long time Dallas area resident. He earned his Eagle Scout at a troop in Plano, TX, graduated from Plano East Senior High School, and received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Dallas.
Mr. Sercely then attended Law School at Ave Maria School of Law in Ann Arbor, Michigan and finished his last semester of Law School at SMU Law in Dallas. He became licensed to practice law in Texas in November of 2009. He has worked at several different law firms during his career, including an earlier period working at R. E. Lopez and Associates and he is very glad to be back.
Mr. Sercely is married to Debbie Sercely and they have two young children. Matthew enjoys reading, camping, and swimming with his children.
Kory Kingery was raised in Blue Ridge, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2011, focusing primarily on American Modernism. In 2014, Kory earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. During his time in Little Rock, he worked at the American Civil Liberties Union on issues relating to voting rights and freedom of speech. Additionally, Kory is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
Kory is married to Haila, his college sweetheart. Kory enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and their Chihuahuas and attending the Indianapolis 500 every May.

Cristina Rodriguez has been with our firm since July of 2012. Prior to joining our R.E. López family, she worked for other prestigious firms in the Dallas Area, where she was introduced to the Personal Injury industry. She also obtained an Associates Degree in Business Administration in 2011.
Cristina has gained experience in every department of the firm, escalading rapidly throughout the years. Her intelligence, dedication, and hard work have led her to achieve her current position as our Attorney Referral Coordinator. Cristina’s priority is to establish a relationship with both the client and the referring firm and to make sure that our referred cases are handled adequately. She is also in charge of the medical records Affidavits Department. Her experience, great customer service and communication skills are what makes her such an important part of the firm.
Cristina is married to Juan Rodriguez and has two wonderful sons, Kevin and Logan. She enjoys her spare shopping and spending time with her family and friends.
Isabel Gastañadui was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She is married to Alexander Gastañadui. She has two wonderful sons, Jose Garcia and Estevan Garcia; a beautiful daughter-in-law, Christy Garcia; and two adorable grandsons, Anthony and Jacob, with another grandbaby on the way!
She has 20 years of experience in personal injury, which she gained by working at different prestigious law firms in the Dallas area. She has gone from being a receptionist to running a pre-litigation department. Isabel has worked closely with Attorney Eric Lopez for the past 10 years. She joined R. E. Lopez & Associates on August 1st, 2012 and began working as the head of the Pre-Litigation department and also assisted in the Litigation Department. Isabel’s experience and commitment to the firm has earned her the position of Office Manager/Accountant for the firm. She has excellent communications skills with clients and the employees.
Isabel enjoys being around friends and family and likes being a role model. She loves dancing and enjoys being surrounded by positive influences. Her motto is: “Hard work is always appreciated and Leadership is action not a position!”
Yesi Leal is our Marketing Director and a Client-Coordinator at R.E. López & Associates, P.C. She obtained her Associates Degree in Arts with an Emphasis in Arts & Technology in 2010. Before joining our firm, she worked for an insurance company with a position in customer service and claims processing.
Yesi joined our R.E. López family in May of 2013. Since then, she has gained experience in most departments of the firm; from intake, to settlement disbursements, including experience in the litigation department. Along with other members of our Marketing team, Yesi also attends community outreach events and manages our social media sites. She is committed to assisting new clients with their needs after their initial consultation to make sure they get the medical treatment necessary and answers any questions they may have regarding the process of their case. Her knowledge, compassion, and ability to understand our clients’ needs, is what makes her an essential part of this firm.
Nancy Pizano-Pedraza was born and raised in Plainview, TX. She moved to the Dallas area in 2011 and joined our firm in July of 2012. Starting off as receptionist, she quickly gained her position as a Pre-Litigation case manager. Her dedication and hard work throughout the years has led her to achieve the Pre-Litigation Department Manager position in our firm. Nancy is an essential part of the firm as she alleviates the burden our clients’ experience when dealing with insurance companies by submitting their claims and assisting in their property damage claim as well. Nancy carefully monitors our client’s treatment from beginning to end and makes sure they receive the appropriate and necessary medical treatment. Nancy also helps build our cases by making sure all of the supporting evidence is in order before submitting demands.
Nancy is currently receiving higher education and will soon receive her degree in Human Resources. She recently married Juan Pedraza in February of 2016. On her spare time, Nancy enjoys spending time with her 6 siblings, mother, husband, and beautiful daughter, Nicole.
Cathy Garcia was born in Monterrey, NL, Mexico and was raised in Dallas, Texas. She achieved her Associate in Applied Science in Criminal Justice Degree in 2010. Cathy joined R.E. López & Associates, P.C. on January 19th 2015 starting off as head of the Discovery division. Cathy is now one of our Client Coordinators and Marketing Representatives. She also has experience in the Litigation Department of our firm. Prior to working at R.E. López & Associates, Cathy worked for at a Chiropractic Clinic where she gained 7 years of experience in the medical field.
Cathy loves to travel, meeting people and trying new food and restaurants. She enjoys engaging in outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family.
